About the Shareware Version

Please note that you have received a “Shareware” version of Think Ahead+. When you register you will receive information from me on how to personalize your copy and create a fully functional version. This information is included in the file called “Personalizing Think Ahead+” found on the the Think Ahead+ distribution disk that I will send to you when I receive your Shareware registration fee. You can tell if you have the “Shareware” version by looking at the About screen. If there is a “Unregistered Evaluation Copy” message in the middle of the screen then you have the “Shareware” version. Otherwise someone's name will be displayed indicating that it has been registered to that person.

There are 30 days in the Shareware evaluation period. If you receive a copy of Think Ahead+ with less than the full thirty days left, contact me for a free copy the “Shareware” version. You can get the latest “Shareware” version from me any time by sending me a blank disk along with a self-addressed stamped envelope or just send me $5.00 and I will do the rest. I will also post the most current “Shareware” version to America On-Line, Compuserve and GEnie as they are released.

If the top part of your About screen doesn't look similar to the above picture then you have acquired a “Registered” version of the program.

Registration Removal
If you have acquired a “Registered” copy of Think Ahead+, Please do not continue to distribute it. Instead follow one of these options:

1) Contact me for a “Shareware” version while you evaluate your registered copy. However, please don't pass around the registered version.

2) Remove the registration from your copy of Think Ahead+ following this procedure:

2.1) Display the About dialog using the About Think Ahead+… menu option from the Apple menu.

2.2) When the dialog appears, press and hold down both the Option and Command keys and click on the little man icon on the right side of the screen.

2.3) You will then see this dialog box asking you to confirm removal of the registration:

 










Press Remove and you now have a “Shareware” copy of Think Ahead+. You may play with this version and pass it around to your friends.
